Mississippi Pot Roast

April 12, 2023 By Morgan

the photograph shows a white plate with red accents filled with shredded pot roast. there are pepperoncini peppers on the left side of the plate. the pot roast looks juicy and has liquid pooling ever so slightly on the bottom of the plate. there are fresh green herbs sprinkled over the shredded pot roast. at the bottom of the photograph and plate there are two silver colored forks resting with their tines pointed to the right. the forks are slightly overlapping, one on top of the other. in the bottom left and right corners, there is just a small peak of a red table cloth with small white flower designs.

Mississippi pot roast is a recipe that always gets shared, and for good reason. The recipe itself is easy to assemble, with the hardest part being the waiting, as your

Lemon yogurt chicken

April 12, 2023 By Morgan

the photograph shows a clay coyote flameware cazuela resting on a clear plastic stand. the stand allows the cazuela to stand almost vertically, this allows the viewer a full look at the cooking surface. the bulbous handle is pointed to the right, and the small secondary triangular handle is pointed to the right. the cazuela is glazed in coyote grey (grey with darker speckling through out). the cazuela is resting on a small light colored wooden table. the background is a white wall.

As I sit down to write this post, I think spring has finally sprung. This recipe is good baked, but great grilled. This recipe calls for a whole chicken, but

If You Make it They Will Yum – Culinary Retreat

February 10, 2023 By Morgan

a horizontally framed photograph shows two clay coyote tagines one in front of the other. the tagine in the back is glazed in yellow salt, the tagine in the front is glazed in midnight garden. to the right of the midnight garden (black base with a splash of blue and little bits of red and gold) is a snake plant in a white house plant pot. the house plant pot has three rings at the top of the pot. the lowest ring is blue, and the two rings on top of it are teal. directly behind the potted snake plant a small section of a dark blue colored pepper mill or shaker can be seen. also behind the snake plant, and to the right of the pepper mill is a reflective tiled candle holder or decorative bowl. the bowl has red, gold, and white tiles on it. behind the bowl and pepper mill is a yellow book with dark red writing on it. the word "saffron" and " & " can be made out on the cover, but everything else is out of focus. the book is leaning against the back wall behind the little table (the little table has the yellow salt tagine, the decorative bowl, pepper mill and book on it. the snake plant and the midnight garden tagine are on a separate table. this table has a white, soft blue red and orange paisley designed piece of cloth covering it. on the left side of the photograph partially out of frame is a house plant with green leaves and a small brown trunk visible. this houseplant is in a white ceramic pot with vertical lines going all the way around it. the room is well lit with white indoor lighting.
