High-Speed Cooking Video: Everything Potatoes

Using our Flameware Grill Basket is easy and we think it makes the best grilled potatoes around!

Steps:
1) Cut up potatoes so they’re all the same size for more consistent cooking
2) Toss on olive oil and seasoning, we use a cookie sheet to catch dripping and easily transport to-and-from the grill.
3) Grill over medium heat or coals for 20 minutes, tossing once at the 10 minute marker.
4) Serve warm with sour cream.

[pro tip] Leftovers are great for Saturday morning homefries with eggs.​

Clay Coyote OscarsRoll out the red carpet! This year we started making more videos, and in case you can’t tell, we’ve been having a great time. Tomorrow is one of our favorite days of the year…. the Academy Awards. So we thought we’d get in on the fun and give out a few awards for the hard working team at the Clay Coyote.

Announcing the (first ever) Clay Coyote Oscars

Best Picture:  The Dot Sale Video is winning the popular vote by a landslide, it is officially our highest viewed video on Facebook to date
Best Actor:  Brett Kuttner reels it in as “Grumpy Old Man“
Best Actress:  Ann Lewandowski shines in “New Guy“
Best Actor in a supporting role: Levi Yankosky for “Pull,” runner up Chris Singewald for “Sheepish“
Best Actress in a supporting role: Betsy Price’s thrifty spot in “Secret Santa” 
Best Foreign Film: Katie Teesdale’s pot in “Cerámica“
Best Short: Brett Kuttner and Levi Yankosky for getting their point across in 8 seconds
Best Cinematography: Ann Lewandowski for not dropping the camera in “Holiday Dessert” since she was laughing so hard
Best Editing: Brett Kuttner for all of his many hits including “Incubate” and “Chicken Baker“
Best Makeup and Hair styling: Morgan Baum in a sweet spot for “Good Sport” 
Best Original Score: Team Coyote bands together in “Howl“
Best Visual Effects: Jim Brodd timeless moment in “Mannequin Challenge” 
Best Sound Editing: Brett Kuttner braves the elements in “Wind“
Best Adapted Screenplay: Brett Kuttner’s “Righteous Moment” 
Best Original Screenplay: Katie Teesdale and Levi Yankosky in “Big Gas Kiln“
Best at Avoiding the Camera: Ian Baum and Michele Ebert (although we got her in “Mannequin“)
