Stylish, Functional, & Handmade

The Clay Coyote is a Gallery and Pottery Studio on the edge of prairie. For decades our family has been making quality, handcrafted, functional pottery on a 54-acre hobby farm in Hutchinson, MN. Our year-round Gallery carries more than 150 artists from across the country and is the perfect place to find a unique, handmade gift for a loved one (or yourself). The Clay Coyote Studio continues to carry on the family legacy with our Chef's Line of Flameware, bake-ware, and serving pottery; all designed to enhance your kitchen. And the Studio is also home to a small business incubator for emerging ceramic artists.

The second type of pottery which will withstand direct heat is more recently developed and is called Flameware. Learn more

Product Testers in Chief: Cooking with Clay

Here at the Clay Coyote we are all Product Testers in Chief. We love to cook with clay. We love our Clay Coyote Flameware pots like the cazuela, the skillets, and of course, grill basket and the tagine. We also have some bakers on the team that swear by their no-knead bread baker, the beer-can chicken baker, and the cassole. Every week we share photos from our kitchens. Warning, these posts are going to make you hungry! Check out our Recipes
