As you might know, we name and choose dates for our Coyote After Dark events after the names of the full moons happening each month. Here are the 2018 Full Moon names:

January 1 – Wolf Moon
January 31 – Snow Moon
March 1 – Worm Moon
March 31 – Pink Moon
April 29 – Flower Moon
May 29 – Strawberry Moon
June 28 – Buck Moon
July 27 – Sturgeon Moon
August 26 – Corn Moon
September 24 – Harvest Moon
October 24 – Hunter’s Moon
November 23 – Beaver Moon
December 22 – Cold Moon

Coyote After Dark – Ladies Night

The December Coyote After Dark is Ladies Night!

This event is Thursday, December 7th from 5-8pm.

We’ll have complimentary bubbly beverages while you shop! Festive music! And jewelry door prizes.

Try your hand at the potter’s wheel or just nibble and sip and cross a couple items off of your Christmas gift list.

Coyote After Dark Frost Moon

At Clay Coyote we stay open late once a month to celebrate the full moon. This month, it is the Frost Moon! Join us for fun, food and activities! You can try your hand a throwing a pot or just take in the beauty of the prairie at night.

Meet Luna

For more than two decades this little coyote has been keeping us company. She’s graced the bottom of your pots and has been a constant in the Clay Coyote family; we just didn’t know her name.

But now, thanks to you, we’re over the moon to introduce: Luna!

Over the last two weeks, more than 150 names were submitted in the quest to name the coyote. Many submitted versions of Clay, Clayton, and Wiley. Another was Coyote McCoyoteFace, which the British government might appreciate after their experience last spring.
