Clay Coyote Holiday Gift Guide (for People Who Actually Cook)

December 1, 2025 By Morgan

Shopping for cooks is tricky because they already have stuff. So here’s our holiday guide for gifting pottery that actually gets used—daily, not “special occasion only.”

a horizontal orientated photograph shows a clay coyote flameware large skillet sitting on the iron grate of a lit gas burner in a home kitchen. There is blue flame visible underneath the large skillet. The photograph is taken from a low angle, slightly higher then the large skillet itself. Inside the skillet is various vegetables including halved brussel sprouts, whole pea pods, broccoli florets and sliced red bell peppers. The handle of the pan is pointing towards the right side of the frame. directly opposite the large handle is a smaller triangular handle facing to the left. partially cut out of picture on the left side is a clay coyote vase, and partially cut out on the right side is a clay coyote dutch oven, the same color (coyote grey) as the large skillet. The ovens backsplash is white tile. For the Weeknight Hero:
Our skillets and saucepans are made for real life—eggs, quick sautés, pasta sauces, the works. If they cook five nights a week, this is their pot.

For the Griller Who Won’t Quit:
Yes, even in December some folks are still outside with a headlamp and a dream. A flameware grill basket keeps veggies, shrimp, and small cuts from disappearing through the grates—and it’s one-of-a-kind.

For the Host / Party Person:
Cazuelas, dip bowls, and serving pieces are holiday MVPs. They go from oven to table and make everything look like you tried harder than you did (we love that).

a horizontally framed photograph shows a charcuterie spread on a white kitchen counter. there is a clay coyote large tray with handles in midnight garden, various glazed little dippers, small trays, yunomis, clay coyote plates in various glazes and a clay coyote wine coaster. the charcuterie spread has green grapes, green olives, sliced apples various hard cheeses, brie cheese with jam, slices of bread, various crackers and nuts. behind this spread is a group of clay coyote yunomis in various glazes. to the right of the yunomis is a bottle of wine, sitting in a wine coaster, further right from that is a stack of clay coyote dinner plates. all of this is on a white kitchen counter top, and there is bright outside light streaming in from an unseen near by window

For the “I Don’t Know What They Like” Problem:
Gift cards are never boring when they’re attached to handmade work. Let them pick their glaze and shape—the fun part is choosing.

If you’re stuck, message us at [email protected] or call 320-587-2599, we’re open Tuesday – Saturday from 10am-5pm.

We love matching people to pots. It’s basically pottery matchmaking, and we take it seriously.
