Shop Our Block: There’s Much in Hutch!

November 23, 2025 By Morgan

Shop small in Downtown Hutch — right around Clay Coyote

When you visit Clay Coyote Gallery & Pottery at 22 First Ave NE, make a day of it and explore the small businesses within a one-block stroll. Shopping local keeps our downtown vibrant, supports families and makers, and makes Hutchinson feel like home.

Our neighbors (all super close!)

  • *NEW* & Close-by:
    • The Book Keepers — Downtown bookstore + gifts with new & used books, puzzles, games, and local crafts.
    • Sips — Hutch has a new dirty soda shop, they also have hot seasonal beverages and fun snacks.
    • Home Again by Willard — A gift store with home decor, candles, and other stocking stuffers. And bonus, Santa sets up shop there for the season starting December 6th.
    • The State Theatre — Announced they’re doing a holiday pop up gift shop in their lobby. Stop by to check it out.
  • Quilt Haven on Main — A true quilter’s paradise with fabrics, kits, classes, and inspiration for days.
  • Olita Gifts & Goods — Thoughtful gifts, local goodies, leather goods, candles, kids’ finds… basically a “treat yourself” trap.
  • Let It Grow — Our downtown “grow-tique” for houseplants, pots, plant-parent advice, and a little tropical happiness year-round.
  • PURSE-a-nalities — Women’s boutique with handbags, accessories, and new arrivals constantly rotating in.
  • by Mae Boutique — Clothing + home finds, with a standout plus-size selection you can actually try on in person.
  • Crow River Floral & Gifts — Fresh flowers, plants, and gorgeous décor for every season and celebration.
  • B G Jewelers — Locally owned jewelry shop for gifts, repairs, and “found the perfect piece!” moments.
  • Carly’s Shoes — Old-school great service, real fitting help, and quality shoes. (Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce)
  • Main Street Antiques — A treasure hunt of vintage, collectibles, furniture, and “I didn’t know I needed this.”
  • Hutchinson Center for the Arts — Local exhibits, classes, and a sweet little gift shop for artful finds.
  • Auxiliary Thrift Shop — Volunteer-run thrifting that gives back to the community. (Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce)
  • And Act Your Age — A fun games and candy store has moved downtown from their previous home in the mall.

Make it a whole downtown day

Pair your shopping stroll with coffee, lunch, or happy hour at one of the many locally owned spots nearby — downtown Hutch is full of cozy places to refuel (our Staff’s fave is Sonoras.)

Or take a little drive out to our two local winerys: Jomas Hill & Crow River Winery.

Use the Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce & Tourism app to find everything going on! iPhone users | Android users.

Thanks for shopping small and keeping our corner of Hutchinson thriving. If you find something you love, tag us when you’re out and about downtown!
