Tony Clennell – Shino Tray and Small Dipping Bowl, Rectangle

Tony Clennell was introduced to pottery and threw his first piece in his aunt and uncle’s studio, Pinecroft, in Aylmer, Canada. That was in 1957…… at the age of 6. Tony has built quite a following in the many years since and is well known in the pottery community. His signature forms and attention to detail, combined with his use of gas and wood fired kilns, shino glazes, wood ash accents, and over glazing techniques make for some very handsome pottery indeed.
