Dill and Shrimp Eggs

August 11, 2012 By Valerie

What is the best deviled egg you have ever had?
I make “deviled eggs” for almost every get together/pot luck/ party I have. I especially love to make variations on the traditional mayo, mustard, paprika variety. While I do enjoy a “regular” deviled egg, I LOVE to make new creations. Here is the recipe I shared with guests last weekend.

24 farm fresh eggs
3/4 cup Greek yogurt
Horseradish mustard
1/4 cup chopped dill
10 large shrimp, cooked, peeled, and chopped
Salt and fresh ground pepper

Blend egg yolks, yogurt, mustard, and salt until smooth. Add chopped dill, shrimp, pepper, and stir. Scoop into halved egg whites. I garnished my egg tray with dill flowers. Serve on your favorite piece of pottery…

Do you have an egg recipe to share here on our Blog?
