One of our latest and favorite glazes is now on our website! Merlot was created by Betsy over a year ago and it has been a big success in our gallery in Hutchinson. She uses mutiple glazes, including red, a matte tan, and our black temoku glaze. The glazes swirl together to create a unique contrast in both color and texture. Merlot is only available in a shaped bowl-we have found it is the best way to showcase the glaze. The actual shape of the bowl changes-it depends on what Tom has been throwing lately! We offer the Merlot bowl in three different sizes; our small bowl has a diameter of about 9", our medium about 11", and large about 13".
